We teach farming as a business

We teach farmers to think of farming as a business. We work to shift the paradigm from viewing farming as a way of life and rather encourage participants to think of themselves as business men and women engaged in the business of farming. We similarly encourage FBO leaders and members to think of the group as a business entity.

In line with this, we teach FBO leaders how to keep records and how to run the group as a profitable business.

Similarly, we teach farmers how to keep accounts, calculate gross profit margins and improve farm business management skills which helps to increase profitability and improve credit worthiness, which is essential for access to micro-credit.
