Logistics Support Services Providing logistical services is an integral part of what we do. In a nutshell, African Connections assists its clients by providing answers or solutions to, “What, when, how, how much and where?” Our logistical services are tailored to the specific needs and objectives of our clients. African Connections acts as a facilitator in order to assure a seamless transition into a new business environment by identifying and arranging suitable housing, office space, temporary accommodations, transportation, long or short-term staffing, shipping, expatriate in-country orientations,conference and meeting planning services. All of these services are available on a customized basis. Whether a multi-national corporation, medium or small business seeking to enter into a new market or currently operating in the market our staff has the experience to provide the solutions to, “What, when, how, how much and where?” The Logistics Support Services we provide include but are not limited to: * Visa and Immigration Process Management We assess the individual profiles to determine the most appropriate immigration plan; advise and assist with gathering the necessary supporting documentation; submit the application on behalf of the expatriate; provide documentation for family members as required by the host country; and monitor regularly the process to keep the client company fully informed of progress. * Temporary Living Assistance We arrange temporary housing for the expatriate, for an approved rental period until the long-term housing is ready or until the expatriate repatriates. * School Search Assistance Based on the expatriate’s needs, we provide information as required for the expatriate/family on potential schools that meet the child’s needs. This will include pre-school, private, public and international schools. * Home Finding Program We provide assistance and guidance based on budget adequacy and market availability. * Lease Negotiations We assist the expatriate to legally end a fixed lease term before the full term supposing the expatriate has to leave the host country. * Settling-in Assistance We help the expatriate/family to gain knowledge of the area and accomplish the necessary actions that will touch practical aspects of their life after moving to a new location. Services include : Utilities/furniture, Bank, Insurance, Auto Leasing/Car Purchase, Medical Centers, Language support, and Neighborhood orientation. * Lease Renewal Program We facilitate the renewal of lease. * Departure Assistance Program We ensure the smooth return of the expatriate/family to their home country.
