The Second Annual Focus on Agriculture Conference and Exhibition

The two-day event will provide a platform for development partners, farmers and other stakeholders in the agricultural sector to share ideas on market-driven agricultural development in Ghana. There will be workshops focusing on improving production techniques; transforming subsistence farming into commercially viable agriculture; market access and development; accessing financial services and reducing post-harvest losses, among others. The Exhibition will give farmer based organizations an opportunity to interact with input providers, credit facilitators and agro-processors gathered to offer value chain linkages to enhance farmer productivity.

Key Objectives

• To bring stakeholders together to deliberate on strategies to transform subsistence farming into commercially viable market-driven agriculture;

• To map out innovative strategies that will add more value to local production;

• To strategize on increasing competitiveness, service linkages and market access;

• To explore ways to accelerate rural economic development through agriculture.
