Our tour of Ghana will include a visit to “Slave River” in Assin Manso, where slaves were forced to wash after their long march to the coast of Ghana from as far away as what is now Nigeria which could take as much as six months.

Millions of slaves were stored at Elmina and or Cape Coast Dungeons during the 400-year history of the Atlantic slave trade. See the infamous “Door of no return” for yourself. This is door that captured Africans, passed through on their way to waiting slave ships that were docked and ready to take them to the United States and beyond.

We will visit the Cape Coast Slave Dungeon, which houses the West African Historical Museum which operates in collaboration with the Smithsonian Institute.

You will have the opportunity to relax and enjoy some of Ghana’s most beautiful beaches and see for yourself, why Ghana is attracting so many tourists. Chances are, you too will fall in love with Ghana!
